Software Archive

I am very much a data hoarder, so it had to be. This archive tries to mainly archive older versions of operating systems, but some other software is archived too. I also archive new stuff while it is still officially available. Currently the archive takes up 1.8 TB, but is expected to grow even more in the coming weeks as I am currently downloading Ubuntu and it's spins, after which I will go to archiving Linux Mint and then I will finally do some of the operating systems I missed. Sadly this archival project can be very annoying at times, especially when you can't find something you need on the internet. I will then mark these pieces of software as missing. I will make a seperate page for this so you can help in the search too.

VM "Experiments"

I am currently not working on these but I used to do so. I plan on making a new one with Linux this time. Basically I took myself a week to prepare some Windows Servers inside a VM, made a custom .iso which would automatically install all software and join the Network and Domain. We connected these using ZeroTier One. In the end we could basically log in on any of the virtual machines from any of the participants with the same login, because I had Active Directory set up. We also had file sharing and eventually even a mail server. I learned quite a lot about how Windows worked, and how it didn't work. It was painful when the scripts didn't do what they should, mainly because I never got any logs or info as to what wasn't working. I only really debugged the issues using the "bash your head against a wall until it works" strategy. With Linux I hope to be able to get at least some logs or indications of what works and what doesn't.

FreeTTRPG

This is the most current project of mine, a TTRPG which is Free and Open Source for all to use. Me and SageTheDM are working on this together. You can find some of his work on his website. All important information about the game will always be available on the FreeTTRPG website he made for me.

Foss Alternatives List

This is a personally curated list of free and open source software alternatives to many non-free programs that we encounter in our day to day life. More obscure stuff is also able to be found on this list. Thanks to SageTheDM we now have a website for this project too. Check the list out on this website.
